Bharata Mata College (Autonomous) is a nationally accredited first-grade arts, science and management co-educational institution of higher learning in the aided sector, under Bharata Mata College Educational Trust.
The induction program was conducted at the seminar hall. The resource person of the day was Dr.K.Prabhakaran. The program was hosted by Ms. Aparna Rajesh and Ms. Fairooz T.M at 9am.The interactive session started at 9.30am. The session started by discussing the role of stock market and different types of markets. It was an interactive session and Dr. K. Prabhakaran explained various concepts clearly with real life cases. He also explained various concepts that are related to stock market. He educated the students on commodity markets in India and about the evolution and functioning of commodity exchanges. The concept derivatives and types of derivatives were also explained. At the end of the interactive session Ranjani and Abhijith gave a small feedback about the overall session. Muhammed Faras T F proposed the vote of thanks. The program came to a close at 10.30 am.
